Boats - Sailing - Ships

May 05, 1968 - The Schooner Malcolm Miller Sails With A Crew Of Girls: The schooner Malcolm Miller today left the London Docks to sail down the Thames towards Dover with a crew of 39 girls, who come from all walks of life. It is the first time the Malcolm Miller, in her first cruising season, has taken on a crew of girls. This follows the great success of last year's all-girl cruise on her sister ship Sir Winston Churchill'. Photo Shows: As other members of the of the girl crew watch from the deck, two others climb aloft too lash down the sail before the schooner's departure from the London Docks today
