Nov. 11, 1968 - A study in black and white, Japan's new Navy; Ships, submarine and naval air support took part in a review of Japan's maritime self defense forces in Tokyo Bay as Prime Minister Eisaku Sato watched the re-born naval forces and 7, 000 men in their various craft from the 5, 050 ton flagship Akatsuki. The force is review comprised 43 surface ships, 3 submarines, and 47 planes.
