Nov. 18, 1968 - Navy-Air Exercise.: In the Mediterranean; A royal Air Force Canberra (foreground) and a Royal Naval Busccaneer everfly three Royal Naval warships taking part in the large-scale NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organisation Mediterranean exercise Eden Apple'. The ships, from left to right are, Frigates H.M.S. Torquay and H.M.S> Eastbourne, and the guided missile destroyer H.M.S> Hampshire. The Buccaneer is from one of H.M.S. Eagle's squadrons which was flown out to the Mediterranean specially for the exercise while Eagle rmains at Devonpert. The Canberra is from 13 Squadron, R.A>F>
