Mar. 08, 1968 - PUTTING THEIR BACKS INTO IT. FAMILY SAILS FOR THE SOUTH SEAS. The 23-ton ketch Isbjorn left Plymouth yesterday bound for the South Seas. Aboard her were Dr. Davis Lewis, a New Zealander, his wife Fiona, their two children, Suzie, 6, and Vicky, 4, and Dr. Lewis's son, Barry, 19, Dr. Lewis, who has been awarded a research fellowship from the Australian National University, is to spend two years in the Pasific studying ancient Oceanic navigational technique. Last year the family completed a three-year round the world voyage in the catamaran Rehu Moana.
