May 15, 1970 - After the spotting, by an American ship, of the wreckage of the French submarine Eurydice'. Having disappeared near Cape Camarat, the fourth of last March, the bathyscaphe Archimedes piloted by Captain Houot, dove into site of the catastrophe in order to photograph and attempt to bring back the debris of the Eurydice, which when examined in a laboratory, will perhaps deliver the secret of the catastrophe.
