Jul. 07, 1969 - The world-elite rowing on the Rotsee near Lucerne More than 90 boats from 18 nations participated at the famous International Regatta on the Rotsee/Lucerne. The crews from the Democratic Republic of Germany dominated very clearly this meeting of the world's best rowers. They won three out of seven finals. OPS: The start of the eight with the winning eastern German crew at the top. The other boats: f.t.t.b. Fiamme Gialle Sabaudia (Italy), Forze Armate Sabaudia (Italy), Lega Delft (Netherlands), the Hungarian national crew and the University of London
