Apr. 19, 1969 - Robin the Lone round-the-world Yachtsman nears his journey's end: Lone round-the-world yachtsman, Robin Knox Johnston, was heading for Falmouth today and nearing his journey's end. The 30-year-old yachtsman's 32-foot ketch Suhaily was about 100-miles off Land's End on the last leg of his non-stop voyage round the world. Today he was spending his 309th day of solitary confinement in the craft that has taken him 30, 000-miles. It is almost certain that Robin will be the first man home in the race organized by the Sunday Times newspaper.
