1969 - The heath's new racing cruiser launched by his stepmother Mrs. Edith heath at Rochester Mr. Ted Retha the leader of the troy party was at the launching of his new, 000 racing cruiser Morning Cloud, on the river midway at low up-nor, Rochester, by his stepmother Mrs. Heath. Mrs. Heath traveled from broad-stairs for the launching in which she broke a bottle of champagne on the bows at the third attempt. The new boat was later rigged and sailed round to the Medws yacht club where Mr. Heath took the helm for off- shore trials under full sail. Her first race will be in east Angolan events from west Nersea. photo shows One of the members of the crew goes aloft when one of the sails came adrift in the high winds during the morning clouds maiden sailing trip on the midway today
