The Captain of Polish MV Bieszozady is a woman On board this Polish ship, which is transporting coal from Stettin to Hamburg, Mrs. Danuta Kobylinska is captain. She is one of only two women in the world who have their captain's certificate. But that's not enough: the crew on the ship are her own family. Husband Czelaw Walas is first officer and son Konrad has just finished his seaman's training. He is now the youngest in the crew. OPS: The captain on the bridge.
