Oct. 10, 1972 - Cement Hull for 74ft yacht. The hull of the largest ferro-cement yacht ever built in Britain being completed in a day at Benfleet yacht club. Essex, the cement mix for the 74ft hull was applied from the inside and forced through welded rods and six layers of tightly packed galvenises mesh, which ensured strength, minimum maintenance and ease of repair. The twin masted schooner is being financed by Capt. tony finchema, of southend, who hopes to launch the vessel next spring
