May 05, 1979 - Sale of Yacht Atlantis': The under Liberian flag luxurious yacht of the grater of Greek ship owner Mr. Niarbos, was sold to another great ship owner Mr. Latsis, at the price of 2, 000, 000. The yacht was formed by the world famous Swiss firm in Ayerform, build in Skaramag ship yards (located 10 miles far from Athens), in 1973, and it is considered as luxurious as the Onassis yacht Christine which belongs to the Greek navy now. It's construction's cost was 10, 000, 000 $ the crew is 51 individuals, has 22 cabins and has flatform for helicopters landing as well. It's length is 114 meters and it's breadth 14.45 meters, it's displacement 3349 t. and it's maximum speed is 21.8 knots per hour. The first ship with the new owner Mr. Latsis, will start from Spanish coasts tot he Arabian countries, very soon. It's believed that on it's way to Arabian countries a small visit to Corfu will take place, on to the small island Agiatrias close to Euboea, Mr. Latsis property.
