Jun. 06, 1976 - The start of the fifth single-handed transatlantic yacht race: The most spectacular fleet of one-man yachts started out from Plymouth of Saturday, June 5th, for the fifth observer single-handed Transatlantic race of 3, 00-miles to Newport Rhode Island.
