Jan. 01, 1981 - Gipsy Moth III, the 40ft yack in which Sir Francis Chichester won the first trans-Atlantic race in 1960, was sold during an auction at Bonhams in London today. And the man who paid £30, 000 for it was Mr. Gunther Stoek, who is from Switzerland, but now lives in Spain. He attended the auction to buy furniture, and finished up buying Gipsy Moth Ill. Mr. Gunther Stoek stands before Gipsy Moth III after paying £30, 000 for it at Bonhams in London today. Am/Keystone
