Jul. 05, 1979 - New Exploration Craft David Gestetner Launched: Britain's newest exploration craft the 26ft long inflatable David Gestetner, sailing past the Discovery after the naming ceremony on the Thames yesterday. The craft will be flown to Papua New Guinea later this month for use as a diving platform by the young explorers of Operation Drake in a search for the wrecks of aircraft and ships lost in the last war.
