Dec. 08, 1981 - Hydrophobia sailing boat to break speed record. With his newly constructed sailing boat Hydrophobe (dread of water) Neuchatel engineer Andre Strautmann wants to break a speed record. The 6 meters boat comes out of the water if speeded and touches it only on the rudder and on the two jibs at both sides. It has already reached a speed of 67km/h these days. Keystone Zurich 8-12-81
