Feb. 02, 1956 - Norwegian Navy Holds Soviet Fishing Trawlers, Poaching in Territorial Waters. M.T.B and other vessels of the Norwegian Navy have seized four Russian fishing trawlers and a 10, 000 ton depot ship said to have been poaching in Norway territorial waters. Norwegian sailors had to fire warning shots with rifles and revolvers to force the trawlers to heave it.
