Aug. 05, 1936 - Former figure skater Ernst Baier will be 70 on September 27th 1975: The former German figure skater Ernst Baier will become 70 years old on September 27th 1975. Together with Maxi who later became his wife. Ernst Baier was very successful in the years between 1930 and 1940. They won a gold medal at the Olympic Games 1936 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and in the same year they became the world champions which they stayed until 1939. Later the couple, which has three children but has been divorced several years ago, travelled around with their own ice revue.
