Feb. 02, 1954 - Ice Balierina: Andra McLaughlin, the American ice-skating star, has taken up ballet and spends several hours each day practising under the expert tuition of a leading ballet instructor. Miss McLaughlin, who plays Sinbad in the pantomime-an-ice at Empress Hall, is at the age of eighteen, the highest paid teen-ager on ice. She gets over £600 a week.
