Dec. 26 The Drum Majorette On Ice: One of the speediest people on skates in the lavish new ice show The Dancing Years at the Empire Pool, Wembley, is pretty, blonde, Betty Atkinson, who in a diamante studded costume and swinging a diamond topped stick, leaps and gyrates on the ice as The Drum Majorette'. Betty is the wife of Charles Main, who plays Rudi Kleber in the show, the star part which was originally played by Ivor Novello. Betty, whose home is in America, has a three years old daughter.
