Feb. 26 Dynamic new dry land skis travel on rotating chains.: Latest development in the world of sport is a new ski-ing invention designed for travel over dry land. A cross between a roller skate and a ski the dry land ski shoes work on a chain belt principle similar to the track of an army tank. The shoes developed in the U.S.A. can be easily strapped over a pair of boots. Momentum is gained through use of conventional snow stick. Record down-hill travel on themini skis is possible at speed in excess of 25.mp.h. Apart from use as a serious new form of sports, the invention is also used to keep winter sport athletes in top condition by pormitting summer training despite the absence of snow.
