Feb. 28 March 5th - 10th, 1974: World Championships in Figure skating in Munich: For the second time, Irina Rodnina and Alexander Saizew from the Soviet Union became the world Champions in figure pair-skating, yesterday. On the second place, there was also a Russian pair, Ludmila Smirnova and Alexei Ulanov. And on the third place Romy Kermer and Rolf Oesterreich from the Democratic Republic of Germany.
