Feb. 02, 1974 - Gold for tiny Liechtenstein in ladies special slalom St. Moritz, Switzerland: Tiny (but heafty) and 18-years young Hanni Wenzel from Liechtenstein (centerriar, ladies slalom event here at the 23rd Alpine Ski World Championships, giving the tine alpine principality of Liechtenstein the first gold ski medal in its history. Second as France's Michele Jacot (left) and third Switz, , lano's Lime-Marie Morerod (r)-who created a sensation by caning into the first three after starting with the number 39. Lise=Marie, a 17 years old from Les Diablerets, won the only one medal for Switzerland
