1954 - New Super Tank Powered By Airplane Engine: Britain recently revealed a new heavy tank, the Conqueror. Official details were scarce, but the new super tank is known to be powered by a Meteor aircraft engine, to be heavier in weight and bigger gunned than any existing British tank.
