May 26, 1954 - London Home Guard Unit Prepares for the Charge the Light Brigade Wearing Russian Gear. Men of the 12th. County of London Home guard Company from the Duke of York's Barracks, Chelsea were to be seen at White City this morning rehearsing their part in the Charge the Light Brigade scene from the SSAFA Searchlight Tattoo. They were to be seen carrying out old time gun drill with a replica of a Russian cannon of Crimean Pattern. Keystone Photo Shows: Sgt. L. Lee of Earl's Court ramming home the charge, while stopping down at the wheel of the anciente cannon is Captain D. Benton during the rehearsal this morning
