Nov. 11, 1954 - Tragic end of an elephant in Augeburg: The 19 years old elephant bull Bosco of the circus Barley at present at Augsburg, suddenly on Wednesday began to rage and had to be killed on Friday. Bosco was come days before escaped and brought back in his stable where he destroyed all the cars and utensils, worth 200000DM. He tried to kill his keeper and all were very angious what will happen in the future so came the order to kill and bull and American soldiers with a heavy machine gun killed the gigant bull with 80entner with 10 balls.
