Aug. 08, 1959 - Search continues for suspected unexploded bomb near the Tate gallery: work continues today for what in thought to be an unexploded wartime bomb - in the shadow of the Tate Gallery. In charge of operations is Major A.b. Hartley of the army Bomb Disposal unit. and included in the team are German ex prisoners of war should the bomb prove actual it is expected that some of the famous exhibition at the Gallery will be moved to safety. photo shows cpl.
