Bombs - Guns - Weapons

Feb. 29 Japan Prepares to Record British H Bomb Test. While making protests to the world about the forthcoming British H Bomb tests in the Pacific off Christmas Island, Japanese scientists are making all preparations to record the explosion when it is set off. All the 15 radioactivity observation stations, and the 8 meteorological stations throughout Japan are ready to record on all their instruments the force and other data about the explosion. Data about air pressure, fall out, temperature, weather changes- all with will be logged and trensmitted by radio direct to the Central Observatory in Tokyo. Rain and dust are brought into the observatory by means of these rubber tubes attached to glass tubes. The residue in time is placed inside a radiation counts so that the amount of strontium can be computed
