Mar. 27 700 years old arm - forge : One of the oldest arm-forge in the country. in which is even worked after the rules of the old art, is the 700 years old hammor - smithy of Ludwig Fehrenbach ( picture) in a hidden valley in the black forest at scelbach near lahn/west Germany. there the master fabricates with original tools coarse iron -quardres and raw round iron under the form water - wheels driven falling hammers swords, sabres, halberds and other fittings like his ancestors. after a carefull watched Family - recipe the blades are hardened. Then they are sold to interested persons which now, in the contrary to the old time, are civils and not knights. Every hand made weapon is signed with a number and equiped with a document
