Bombs - Guns - Weapons

Sep. 19, 1962 - Latest Progress On Blue Streak Pictures show the latest progress on the development of Britain's Blue Streak Rocket as the first stage of a European satellite launcher. Tests are being carried out at the Spadeadam Rocket Establishment, Cumberland, which was visited by the Minister of Aviation, Mr. Julian Amery, on September 20. Spadeadam was established specifically for developing and carrying out static tests on Blue Streak - originally intended as a Ballistic Missile but now being developed for the European launching vehicle.
