May 05, 1970 - Big Shot Rests on Shooter's Hill : Keith Broomfield, of Heacham, near King's Lyan, Norfolk, with The Daily Telegraph Challenge Trophy and souvenir silver salver, rests on a mound of spent cartidges at the West London Shooting Grounds, Northolt. The mound has been growing since 1948, and is believed to contain more than 10 million cases. Present day cost of 100 unused cartridges:£4.58
