Dec. 12, 1965 - International Chess Congress At Hastings. The annual International Chess Congress opened at Hastings. There is nothing like a practice with more than one board - for these champions, prior to the opening of the Congress. On left is Boris Spassky, of Russia (who plays world champion Tigran Petrosian for his title in March 1966) - and on right is Svetozar Gligoric, of Yugoslavia (Serbia). Both are taking part in the Premier Section
