Boxer dog changes from male to female

Sep. 09, 1960 - Lulu - The Sex - Change Dog: Buller, an eight-year old boxer dog has been renamed Lulu - because his master was told Your dog is changing sex'. Veterinary surgeons were shocked. Previously they thought it impossible for sex change to occur in a mature animal. The dog is owned by Mr. Charlie Vineall, of Charlton Road, Edmonton, Middlesex. The changeover was first discovered last week when Mr. Vineall's son-in-law, Mr. Jimmy Edwards, took Buller to the RSPCA Clinic. We wanted the vet to look him over as he seemed a bit off-colour, said Mr. Edwards. The vet was surprised when i told him that the dog was a him - not a her. Then he told me that the dog was changing into a bitch'. At the RSPCA clinic, a veterinary nurse said: Buller is developing female characteristics. But he will need an operation to compelete his change into a bitch. Photo Shows Buller, the sex-change boxer dog - or is it Lulu?
