Former British light-heavyweight champion Randolph Turpin-made a first class come-back last night when he battered Alex Buxton to defeat in five rounds-to win back his title once again. Turpin put Buxton down five times before the reference stopped the contest. Promoter Jack Solomons told Turpin that he expected to be able to offer him a world title contest in 1957- if he won in conviincing style-which he did.
