Feb. 02, 1959 - Frankie Vaughan in the ring at Pinewood. One of the most unusual sequences over shot at Pinewood, was filmed today for the Anna Neagle production for the Rank Organisation, The Heart of a Man, which stars Frankie Vaughan, Anne Heywood and Tony Britton. The sequence was a full-scale Variety Club of Great Britain Charity Boxing Tournament, in which Frankie went several rounds with Pinewood's fight expert, Rupert Evans. The referee was world featherweight champion, Hogan Kid Bassey.
