Dec. 21 Jack Gardner prepares for a comeback while his wife runs their farm Jack Gardner, ex-British and European heavyweight champion had his first public appearance yesterday in readiness for his comeback contest with Uber Bacilieri at Harringay next Tuesday. He says that the main reason for his return to the ring is that he wants more land to add to his 62 acre farm at Market Harborough and he is prepared to fight for the necessary cash to pay for it, at the same time keeping fit on the farm which his wife helps to run.
