Dec. 09 Are'nt you jealous mistah Wills: While out in sunny California, Jack Dempsey, heavyweight champion kept his ears cocked for the dinner bell. To his mind that was the best part of the day, for then Ma Keanrs, mother of the champ's manager (s with Jack) showed that she too was a champion, in the culinary line. Jack was her boy while he stopped at her home in Oakland, and ass star boarder he was a success. Ma just loves to watch the boys eat - and Jack satisfied that love - from soup to nuts, with many incidentals. Here he is getting immersed in a hugs slice of watermelon. Look as though he was enjoying it too
