Mar. 27 Gypsy Spinks Will Water-Ski For That Title ! Terry Spinks, 21-year-old Olympic Gold Medallist and baby-faced boxer from Canning Town, is training for his British Featherweight title fight in October - Water-Skiing! He has bought a luxury caravan so that he can train where he chooses. In the past he has either trained at home - his parents hate the sport and have never seen him fight as a professional - or at Bournemouth with a hotel as his headquarters. Now in his 22ft. long caravan complete with oven cooker, hard stove and bathroom, he can even accommodate a trainer and two sparring partners. The caravan at present rests on Wallasea Island, a sparsely inhabited place not for from Southend-On-Sea. There's a good road for running and I hope to do some water-skiing on the River Crouch. I am taking lessons from a German instructor. 35-year-old German engineer Mr. Otto Fischer, who came to this country with his family from Bavaria in 1935, fastens Terry's water-skiis
