Oct. 10, 1970 - On The Brink Of Defeat: World Boxing Council junior-lightweight champion Yoshiaki Numata of Japan, came back from the brink of defeat with an amazing fifth-round knockout win over California challenger Raul Rojas in Tokyo. Knocked around the ring for almost two rounds, a battered and tired Numata suddenly erupted with a blazing uppercut to the jaw that sent Rojas to the canvas for the count. Photo Shows: Challenger Raul Rojas from San Pedro, California is counted out in the fifth-round in the title fight, by an uppercut to the jaw while the fighters were battling on the ropes
