The United States amateur boxing team who meet Great Britain at the Anglo-American Sporting Club's headquarters at the Park Lane Hilton, were training at the Noble Art Gymnasium, Haverstock Hill. In the team is 21-year-old Bobby Lee Hunter, a flyweight, who is serving an 18-year old sentence for manslaughter - and who received special permission to come to England to fight.
