Jun. 06, 1974 - Champion Loses world Title To Challenger. U.S. Challenger Oscar Albarado, Knocked out WBA junior middleweight champion Koichi Wajima of Japan in the 15th round of their world title match at Nihom University Auditorium in Tokyo. Wajima had successfully defended his title six times. In the last round Albarado floored Wajima three times. Photo shows Japanese refers Yusake Yoshida, sends Albarado to his corner as Wajima drops to the canvas on one knee in the last round of their 15 round fight. Wajima was then sent to the canvas again for the full count knock out
