Mar. 03, 1976 - Britain's John H. Stracey retains his World Welterweight title beating America's Hedgeman Lewis at Wembley: John H. Stracey reatined his world welterweight title when he beat Hedgeman Lewis at Wembley on Saturday night. Stracey, who sensationally took the title from Jose Napoles in Mexico in December, beat the American in the tenth round when the referee stopped the fight to save him from further punishment.
