Sep. 09, 1973 - Big Fight Fiasco In Tokyo: World heavyweight champion George Foreman, disposed of his Puerto Rican Challenger Joe King Roman by a knockout within two minutes of the first round of their scheduled 15-round world title fight in Tokyo. The fight has been called a mismatch, and immediately raised questions why the match was ever allowed to take place.
