Boy photographs ruins of Roman temple, near Mansion House
Sep. 09, 1954 - Roman temple may be saved world again postponed as Works Minister calls conference. The remains of the Roman Nitheriac temple were uncovered on the site of the proposed block of offices near the Mansion House, City of London. It may after all be saved from the bulldozers which were due to shatter it on Monday. This dramatic news came yesterday after an unexpected conference called by Sir David Eccles, Works Minister, but there is a German. to preserve the temple beneath the 14-storey will sort 00, 000. A queue of people has formed every day to view the ruins of the temple. People came to take photographs.
