1959 - He took on a big job: There were thousands of jobs for Scouts and Cubs during the Boy Scout Association's Bob-a-job Week - but there were surely not many bigger than that tackled by 8-year old cub, Michael Stewart, of Broomley, Kent, who got the job of creosating a 200-foot long fence. It is doubtful, despite the Scout's motto Be Prepared that he expected quite such a big fence, but, as seen here he put plenty of energy into the task
