Feb. 26 Robert Baden-Powell Commemoration Service at Westminster Abbey.: A special commemoration and wreathaying ceremony was held this morning at Westminster Abbey by the Scout and Guide Movement. Representatives from many parts of the World taking part. It was part of the Movement's Thinking Day - and commemorates the joint birthdays of the founder - Lord Robert Baden Powell and his wife, Olive, lady Baden-Powell the World Chief Guide. Photo shows placing wreaths at the Abbey this morning are L-R:- Carol Latham (19) of Wandsworth; on behalf of the Guides of the Commonwealth; Lawrence Curtis (16) of Clapton, London - on behalf of Scouts of the Commonwealth, and Wilma Mimss (15) of Georgia, on behalf of United States Girl Scouts troops in the U.K. and to mark 50 years of USA Girl Scouting
