Feb. 02, 1966 - Boycott The Queen Posters In Georgetown: Police swooped on a printing works in Georgetown, British Guiana yesterday, seized formers used for Printing Peoples Progressive Party posters protesting at the Queen's Visit. The posters read: P.P.P. boycott the Queen because Guyana and Rhodesia are victims of British Oppression and exploitation'. Premier Forces Burnham said yesterday he did not anticipate any communal unrest as a result of P P Opposition Party's boycott of the royal visit.
