Mar. 03, 1960 - Brendan Behan goes to rehearsal of Brother's Play - and goes to sleep: Brendan Behan the welll known Irish playwright attended a rehearsal in London last evening of the play Posterity be Damned - written by his brother Dominic - and fell asleep. Then he woke up red-faced and sullen and angry and shouted a rude word. He followed this with a cry of rubbish'. Then he stalked out of the Metropolitan Theatre, Edgware Road - but before going he declared passionately There were no murderers in the IRA. Dominic's play suggests that there were. Photo shows Brendan Behan snores through Dominic's play - beside him his mother, father and sister-in-law
