Oct. 10, 1967 - Rolling Stone Brian Jones jailed for nine months: Rolling Stones guitarist Brian Jones, 25, was jailed for a total of nine months this afternoon after admitting two drugs charges. He was also ordered to pay £265.10s.costs. For permitting his flat to be used for smoking cannabis, Jones was jailed for nine months, with three months concurrent for possessing cannabis. Jones counsel, Mr. James Comyn, QC, asked for bail pending an appeal against sentence, but this was rejected by the chairman, Mr. R.E. Seaton.
