Mar. 03, 1954 - U.S.D. Coronation For British Brigadier: Brigadier F.L. Martin, DSO, Of H.Q. 149 Infantry Brigade, Old Nunthorpe House, Bishopthorpe, York, receives the legion of merit in the degree of legionnaire from US Army Attache General R.E.S. Williamson at today's 19 March investiture at London's Winfield House. Brigadier Martin received the award for outstanding conduct in Korea, where he served with distinction as assistant and Quartermaster General of the British Commonwealth Forces
