Sachs was known for his flamboyant life style and his 3-year marriage with French actress and sex symbol Brigitte Bardot, whom he won over by dropping countless red roses over her mansion. His last marriage with Swedish model M. Larsson lasted over 40 years. Sachs committed suicide at his home in Switzerland after learning that he was suffering from Alzheimers disease.
